Fatacil’s cultural events includes: Music Concerts by re-known Portuguese Bands, Portuguese Folk Dancing, Portuguese Horse Riding Shows and Displays, Children’s ‘Let’s play with clay’ workshop, Fado Evening, Dog shows, Table Football Competition, Algarve Wine Competition & Bullfighting.
A major attraction at this fair is the variety of musical events as well as the opportunity to sample the region’s gastronomical delights!

Fatacil is held at Fatasul in Lagoa (Showground for Fairs and Exhibitions; Parque Municipal de Feiras e Exposicões) and is within 20mins by car or taxi from Praia da Rocha & Portimão.

‘Noche del Triunfo’ is an interesting spectacle of flamenco dance and bullfighting. A most natural combination!
The horse rider Luís Roxinol, ‘matador’ Luís Gonçalves and the group of ‘forcados’ from Lisbon will be present. The bulls are from Pontes Dias. The group Serva La Bari will perform the flamenco.

The Marina of Portimão is actually at Praia da Rocha. The Marina is one of the most attractive parts of Portimão and Praia da Rocha. Located by the estuary of the river Arade it is surrounded by excellent restaurants with fantastic views of the beach, the sea and the river.

The Restinga Stadium is not just the football grounds of the Portuguese club Alvorense but is also a venue for music concerts. It’s next to Alvor’s beach. Within reach of Alvor’s Riverside. It’s easy to get to it by car or taxi from Praia da Rocha, Portimão or Alvor.
After the concert continue with an ‘after party’ at Sasha Beach Restaurant (Praia da Rocha, next to the Marina (included in the ticket price).
